Payments
i) For your protection, we only accept payments through Unhung Art. Cash payments, cheques, and bank transfers are not accepted.
Copyright
i) Our content may not be sold, reproduced, or distributed without our written permission. Any third-party trademarks, service marks and logos are the property of their respective owners. Any further rights not specifically granted herein are reserved.
Framing
ii) Paintings are available straight from the artist’s studio and therefore are mostly not available to be framed. If a painting is already framed, it is sold as seen, however the artist is under no obligation to change the frame or provide a frame for an unframed painting.
Signatures
iii) Paintings will be signed by the artist on the front or the back of the painting so you will find out who the artist is of your chosen piece either when it comes through your door or if you have to speak to the artist regarding delivery. Unhung Art will not disclose the artist name prior to a purchase under any circumstances.
Shipping and Delivery
iiv) Collection - If you would like to collect your artwork, please let us know at the time of purchasing so that we can put you in touch with the artist.
v) Postage/shipping - Our artists choose which couriers to use themselves. Once the artwork has been dispatched, you and Unhung Art will receive a dispatch confirmation email that includes the name of the courier used and the tracking number.
vi) As all artwork sold on Unhung is dispatched directly from the artists’ studios, delivery times can vary, therefore we allow up to 2 weeks for you to receive the artwork or for you to collect the artwork from the artist. Most of the artworks can be shipped immediately, however if an artist is away at the time of purchase, a 2 week grace period gives them time to get back before breaking the contract. If you need a painting to be shipped immediately, please contact Unhung Art to find out if it is feasible before purchasing a painting through the website. If your painting is not dispatched or available to be collected in the specified timeframe at the fault of the artist, except due to nature of force majeure, you are entitled to a full refund.
Returns and Refunds
vii) Our artists take pride in their work and do what they can to protect it during transit however sometimes packages do get damaged. We understand how disappointing it is to receive a damaged artwork, so if this happens, please follow the below steps:
a) Contact Unhung Art with photographs of packaging and the artwork to provide evidence of the damage. We will contact the artist to discuss whether the artwork can be repaired or replaced.
b) Please retain the original packaging and return the artwork within the packaging (if possible) to the artist via signed for delivery, ensuring that the artwork does not receive any further damage.
c) Please retain receipts and proof of postage and email copies of these to Unhung Art and the artist.
d) Once the artwork has been received by the artist we will issue you with a full refund for the artwork and cover any reasonable return postage costs.
e) Please note that any further damage to the artwork on its return journey to the artist will affect your refund so please ensure the the artwork is wrapped appropriately and insured as necessary.
Cancellation (If the artwork doesn't work for you)
viii) Customers have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving goods. If you change your mind about your purchase, you are entitled to a full refund up to 14 days after receiving the artwork. The artwork must be returned to the artist in the same condition as it was received and via the same postage method. Please retain all proof of postage receipts and tracking numbers and provide these to Unhung Art upon postage. The returning of the artwork will be done at the purchaser’s expense. Refunds will be available once the artwork has been received in the same condition as it was sent by the artist and Unhung Art has received confirmation of this. Unhung Art will refund the customer as soon as possible, but in any case within 14 calendar days of receipt by the artist of cancelled goods. If any damage occurs to the item during shipping the damage will be at the purchasers cost therefore it is advisable to take out the necessary insurance on the returned items.
